That hug was definitely pretty weird, in a cute way tho. Like...she just went straight to him, didn't even look anywhere else lol. It was pretty long as well, AND i don't even think she's ever hug Evan in that way, But yeah...i don't really care if she's dating him AS LONG AS it doesn't affect the album....but oh well...
If they're dating we can only pray for them to not break up before AL7 gets released lol....

She can date whoever she wants in my book, but yeah, I totally get the apprehension as far as her album goes. If that's Mod's painting in Avril's backyard it looks like it could be a gift to her? Maybe he was just trying to thank her for the visibility she gave him and everything she's done. This is all merely speculative and it doesn't make any real difference to me anyway, I was just curious to see what you guys thought. Yeah, I think the painting was probably a gift for her, very personal. I also don't mind if they are dating, he seems like a nice guy and their hug after she was done shooting was kinda cute 🥺 Time will tell. |

#Avrildetectives. Am I missing something? Did SHE instagram story the painting? Because from the picture shared on here it seems to be from his account not hers. So why are you implying she or he gave it to each other.
Anyways, I just saw her insta stories for today. He's skating at her house it seems. Knowing her it's completely possible that she's dating him. I've seen the signs before. Sometime before she announced her engagement with Chad, there were pictures of them before and my mind went to "they're dating". It was later confirmed. With Brody she also played the "stop phishing" game with Ryan Seacrest and then they were doing PDA. Then there's Pete on her insta stories and suddenly he's her date at a Grammy party, quarantining at her house, and him posting heartbreak songs 💔. Also with Ryan she never confirmed but he live with her for years and was everywhere she was. And now he's dating someone similar to her..yeah I'm always gonna bring that up. Now Mod Sun is everywhere and there's signs of them being super close and friendly. So like I said I wouldn't put it past her that they're hooking up. It's hard to meet people right now so I don't blame her. But I'm still side eyeing her lol
Hey anyone think it's funny how she becomes friends with her exes but then she also erases her work just because they broke up? I will never understand this woman. Like you can be friends after but not sing the songs they inspired 🤔

no one even knows for sure who painted it lol. But it did remind me of Avril the moment I looked at it, maybe it's the colors: pink and blue (like her recent photoshoot pics with Mod, come to think of it). Apparently Mod paints too and people say the style is similar to his previous stuff. The one thing we know is that he posted that painting and one hour later was riding bikes with Avril on the beach. It could mean something, or it could mean nothing. My hunch right now is that there's something there. The first time I thought there might be something was when I noticed she seemed to consciously ignore his comments on her pics or be very vague in her interactions with him -- it made me go like "hm... is this her way of trying to keep things low-key and private?". Has anyone else noticed that? Specially since she doesn't seem to have any problem interacting publicly with Feldman in a much warmer way and the 3 of them have been in the studio together for over a month.
My mentality here is exactly the same as Ame's tho. As long as she's happy and it doesn't end up becoming a reason to delay the album or unnecessarily scrap songs, I don't care who she dates.

Given the picture was of a character with green hair like Mods and had Beware written over it I took it to mean Beware of Mod cause he'll steal your girl. If they're dating fine (doesn't make me worry about losing songs since that only happened with Rotem who, by all accounts, was really bad to her and that's assuming why she didn't use those songs. She never said that it was because they broke up) but he seems to really idolise her as Avril Lavigne, someone he was a fan of, and that doesn't seem healthy. |

I honestly don’t get a vibe from them that they’re dating. He seems to really admire her and idolize her and it would be really weird to date someone with that mentality. I think he is just in awe to be working with someone of her level and is grateful for what she’s been able to do for his music. The hug could have just been Avril being appreciative for being part of the project and her being proud of his work since he directed it.
I admit I felt a small vibe in the scene where they are back to back but otherwise I honestly don’t get vibes they are dating. They’ve been working together for a few months now, they could just be close friends. I’ve honestly felt more vibes between her and Evan and they never dated, her and ModSun give off even less vibes than that lol They probably hang together outside the studio cause they’re friends and bored, they are tested for COVID often so it’s ok for them to hang with each other and they probably don’t have many people they can hang with due to COVID.

The MV just crossed 1M views!
Really not bad at all, all things considered. Yungblood's recent collab with MGK took roughly around the same time to reach 1M views and they're both well-known names within the genre right now, whereas Mod x Avril is a much more unbalanced duo in terms of status seeing how Modsun is only now reaching new heights with his career, yet they still managed to get a similar result.
The biggest takeaway seems to be that everyone is here for rock Avril. The comment section all across her socials is flooding her with praise for "going back to her roots", "proving pop-punk isn't dead", "bringing back the 00s", etc etc. Flames definitely succeeded in creating some hype. Now here's to hoping her lead is somewhere on the horizon.
