Wtf did they do to her face? She doesnt even look like herself anymore

She looks great from clos up. But from far away i agree she seems weird. I didn't like until someone posted the HQ pcitures, give it a try, she looks better than you think. And the retouch is nothing crazy, just a normal skin retouch.

The fact that he re-recorded his vocals but she didn't is just... 💀💀💀
Lazy truly is her life style.

Seeing the cover art, my first thought was "if they're holding hands, why do they look so damn serious? It doesn't fit!" But then I remembered the song's lyrics, and now I think it actually works quite well. And them holding hands is kinda cute.
But yeah, Avril's face... who edited that? There's so much retouch, as niki said. I also don't get why so many photo editors keep removing that cute little mole between her eyebrows. They've been doing that for decades, though...

As for the song, good to know it's a midnight release. Only 9 more hours for me (and most of Europe).  But if Avril's vocals are the exact same... Well... I'd say it's disappointing, but I've been counting with that anyway, so... 

Back to being disappointed   Did she really not have time to record new vocals for this? They seem to be living together and I don't imagine she's busy all the time. Also the acoustic version of this song is probably going to be so flat, the original song is all about the instrumentation and if you take that away I don't see how it can still sound interesting... I will give it a shot, I guess.

I kind of expected Avril’s vocals might not be redone as they were already pretty soft to begin with. It’s not necessarily that she was too lazy to redo it, but maybe they just didn’t see the point in wasting time recording something that didn’t really need to be redone and instead use the time to record new music. Who knows.

The single cover is kind of lame and cheesy. The hand holding thing can work for the type of song that it is, like it’s about 2 people in a toxic relationship, hence the hand holding but serious expression. But I hope they don’t continue to milk this relationship for PR. It’s just cringey and will look bad if (*cough* when) they break up. Much like how awkward LMG looks now that she’s divorced from Chad.

I hope they have something else coming with this, like a video or live performance, because if it seriously took them weeks/months to work on this/“get it just right” that is sad. All they did is copy the same vocals over new instruments.

I don't see this acoustic version giving the song any new interest. I think a piano version might have been more interesting, they could have changed the tempo of the song and transform it a little. If there's not even a video to go along with the acoustic then who's going to listen to it more than once or twice? Mod Sun has said a few times he wants to do everything he can to make the song a hit and get it to #1, but this feels so safe and predictable...
