She really is awful at lip-synching. I don't understand why? I don't find it hard at all, I do it all the time in the mirror haha. Why does she struggle so much to get it right?  |

Maybe a bit of a trivial observation, but artists singing together in such a 'duo' usually seem to have the guy on guitar, and the girl with only the vocals (or is it just my imagination?), and here it's Avril doing the guitar part, and Mod Sun clinging to the mic (and damn how energetic he always wants to be on camera!), ha ha.

The video is pretty blah overall. I can appreciate that they let Avril do the guitar since usually the female collabs only get relegated to vocals, but her lip synching is so bad and she is really lacking any energy or passion, it seems like she is just going through the motions. Meanwhile Mod seems to be giving it his all with each line he sings and actually looks like heβs singing while Avril is like 10 ft away from the mic. This was ok but nothing special or worth all the time spent making it βspecialβ or worth waiting for, sorry.

i also hear different instruments like a xylophone (?) The. video gave me a confirmation of that instrument lol The video is good, I like the set. Obviously nothing unforgettable, just like the Acoustic version itself. Mod is always very energetic, he seems like he's seriously singing, very good acting skills. Also he seems he can't sit for too long for the energy. Avril is there. Ok So that topless thing ? are we sure 100% that was set for this video? I can see the necklace.. but what's the point of the topless thing and also those stud bracelets if then they're covered by the leather jacket? |

1. We can stay calm. The outfit of the red extensions and bracelets is apparently still something related to #AL7
2. Someone on the forum was right when a few days ago saw that she was wearing professional makeup in the paparazzi photos .. She was done for this video. And then they went to dinner and got photographed.
3. Lip sync is embarrassing. There is a part where Avril is smiling and her voice is still heard in the background .. Cringe. I don't understand why she is SO bad doing this. Years ago she was great in the old music videos of her ...
4. Very simple video. I don't think this helps the song. Can we put this song aside and move on to the lead single from it? I'm afraid that tomorrow they'll announce a remix ft skrillex.

I think if Avril was to remake IWY video nowadays she wouldn't be able. Trying to match the lips with that fast forward on... she would probably collapse and it will be only her lying there on the floor nearby the footsteps on the bridge. /end video
