I think it was her most successful era after Goodbye Lullaby. I loved: - The first single Bite Me, it has Avril written all over it - The outfits made by that stylist since the very beginning. It's The Best Damn Thing Vibe, but orange and not pink. - It was overall way more organized than the messy HAW era. - Amazing photoshoots - I liked that she did Physical CDs, and cassettes ! - She finally toured Europe after so many years and I loved seeing the arena in my city sold out - She seems more connected with fans and less shy, she often stopped by to take photos, signings, way more than in the past, thank u Avril it was about time - Olivia Rodrigo covering her song and making her known to more people of the new Generation - The Star in Hollywood, finally, iconic. - Being so active on Tik Tok - Releasing LG 20th in the middle of the era - Avril attending Fashion Shows, she never did and so many other celebs always go and are always on the spotlight even if less talented imo What I didn't like: - Single choice (I understand why she chose Love it and Bois Lie, but I don't like them, nor I cared about listening to them live). Bite Me and Mess ok, Love Sux and Avalanche had to be 2nd and 3rd singles - Love Sux autographed cds became autographed art cards with the promise of a signed booklet which never arrived and her team never replied the mails taking the responsibility or simply explaining. It was a scam and they always remind us how unprofessional they are - Rush release of Love it When You hate Me as official single after the big debut on streaming, MV released too late, without premere on YT, and at random timing, with the result of being among the videos with less views ever. This was a bit messy - Late release of Bois Lie MV, after the tour with MGK was over, so non-sense (the video is very good though) - Late release of Love Sux Vinyls - Lack of promotion in Tv shows and stuff around USA and Europe. She always came here to sing the first singles on TV or radios, and did interviews months before the record came out (for the first 4 eras, the most successful ones). - Her dating Ty Ga I stil can't believe it - Her behavior towards Modsun, I won't forget easily - Poor Setlist on tour. - No early entry for tour and of the few available, too pricey (350 euros) Agree with you on a lot, mostly everything. Especially the things you like. I must say one thing I also didn't like was how the Love Sux vinyl was looking so dull in comparison to the other vinyls... no thick vinyl with photoshoots from Love sux, nothing.

There were definitely early entries in Stuttgart, I saw 3 groups of 2-4 people getting merch and taken into the venue early and they were in front row. Or is it something different?

I think that was the high price early entry (vip) tickets gabbox mentioned. And Francesca, Amanda and Adam from Bandaids were like at every show front row and early entry but they didn't stand with the other early entry/vip ticket-people.

How many copies has luv sux album sold, in the USA by now 2023? Thereโs no real way to tell till it starts getting certifications. It debuted with 30k, though, and thatโs pretty decent. Also album sales donโt really mean anything the same way it meant 10-20 years ago. Itโs not really a good way to measure success of an album. Streams and radio play are more important.

I know I bought the red, orange and clear vinyl LOL im hoping she re-releases all of her older albums on colored vinyl again... sorry but im not paying 250 for red under my skin. Urban Outfitters did Let Go.... not sure why they didn't finish the discography like they do everyone else... on another note, who is Homer Simpson??

Iโm sad this era is coming to an end. I cannot express how much this era meant to me as a fan. Having her come back to a full, live band album and back to her punk-pop signature sound was everything that I had dreamed of and more. It quickly made its way up my list up to the second spot for a reason.
-Bite Me was probably my favorite lead single from her. -The album photoshoot is flawless, despite it being probably one of her simplest ones. -The album cover is probably my favorite one off all her albums. -Thank you giving us so much merch this year and different physical albums. The best itโs been since TBDT. -She started this era with an amazing energy, something we hadnโt seen since the GL era. -Agreed it was her most successful era since GL because of all that has been stated in previous comments. -The way she finally had full control of her music and seemed happier than ever working with people from her own lane. Thank you, Feldman and Travis!
Since March, being in this fandom has suddenly turned into some sort of nightmare with all that happened, and I admit Iโve been going back and forth whether how comfortable I feel being a fan of hers (her dating Tyga is something I cannot fathom and never will). Yes, sheโs an adult. But no 40 year-old adult with a bit of common sense and self-respect would date a literal abuser. Itโs heartbreaking to watch really.
Hopefully by the time the new album comes out this person is out of the picture and we see her in a better place. Iโm not even expecting her to get any better on tour because I think this is what weโll get from now on and weโll have to go to her shows for what they are, a fun hour-long nostalgic rollercoaster ride.
I donโt even want to say farewell to the LS era, and to a certain extent, I feel it will still be โactiveโ until promo for the new era begins. But thank you for making me feel all these years waiting for an album like this were worth the wait.
One more thing: please, no rap, trap , rap/rock album lol. Just keep with this sound and add more diversity with ballads and midtempos and people will absolutely love it.

I liked mostly everything with the exception of the single choices.
1. Bite Me, but a better timing 2. Love Sux 3. Avalanche 4. Iโm a mess 5. Cannonball / tour video only
I would have kept my promise (for the first time) and release the dual album with:
1. Iโm a Mess 2. Joker 3. Hallelujah 4. Too Fast to Live 5. Retrograde 6. Eternally 7. Californiayeah 8. Shut Up 9. Cโest La Vie 10. Pity Party 11. Rock Boyfriend with a male artist 12-13probably some of those we havenโt heard yet
Her singles choices have been the worst recently

I will never understand why they didn't released love sux as the second single too. Album came out very close to the valentine's day. Like she could've used that to make an anti valentine's day song very easily with a very fun music video joking about her "lucky" when it comes to love. It's not a coincidence that Love Sux is the most streamed song on the album, right after the singles. The potential WAS THERE. She needs to get it together when it comes to pick the second single.

In general, Avril always tends to pick songs that arenโt single material..

How many copies has luv sux album sold, in the USA by now 2023? We can't know for sure but let's do an estimation: AL5 debuted at #5 with 44.000 copies, then remained for 12 weeks in the Top 200, and it needed 1,5 years to achieve 150.000 copies sold. Love Sux debuted at #9 with 33.000 copies, then remained for just 3 weeks in Top 200. Taking into account the album is not even 1,5 years old and the commercial performance was worse than AL5, I think it is safe to say around or slightly less than 100.000 copies sold as of today.

No I didnโt had a hard time not bringing that up, I didnโt even thought about that when I saw her, not to mention it would be extremely disrespectful.
