I actually discuss this in the latest episode of my podcast, back when Avril was said not to contribute much to her songs. If you listen to the episode, you will see what The Matrix had to say about her contributions to LG, but they said she contributed significantly to their songs. I listened to it today while I drove to my work and back home! Interesting episode! Looking forward to part 2. Awesome! |

She's said herself that Clif Magness let her write all the lyrics on their songs which is 5 out of 13 on the album and they do sound like her lyrics. There's also songs on her other albums that she wrote alone or at least the lyrics alone that have good lyrics and ones that are similar to things people say she couldn't have possibly written on co-written songs. I think she's just hit and miss. When she wants to she can come up with clever, intersting lyrics but sometimes she feels something simple fits better or is more intersted in having fun and the overall feel

I like that Lauren Christy always likes the comments of fans and it feels like she leaks all this songs lol. I really wish her to know that we really like those unreleased songs from HAW era 😭

I like that Lauren Christy always likes the comments of fans and it feels like she leaks all this songs lol. I really wish her to know that we really like those unreleased songs from HAW era 😭 Some of her songs that were leaked were from LS like californyeah and teenage nightmare, I wonder was mod leaking some of her songs because there are alot that was taken of youtube. |

It was most likely someone connected to the recording sessions, someone innocuous like an engineer or somebody like that, who then sells it off to a buyer, then the buyer sells it to another buyer, and that’s how it gets passed around. I’m sure anyone involved has to sign NDAs and stuff. Why would Mod leak his own work for free? And if he did, he’d be sued and never work with Avril (or probably any other artist) again. It’s almost always somebody like an intern or engineer, etc.

It’s almost always somebody like an intern or engineer, etc. Most of the leaked songs are registered by Atlantic Records (when you try to upload them to SoundCloud) so I think most of this songs are registered somewhere and most of them like Bright, Half and etc that were in session with Lauren Christy. So maybe there’s leaking from the one source with all registered songs both from LS and HAW. So it’s really hard to say who leaks them:( |
