Maybe she's re-mixing Under My Skin? she must have posted IG stories in 2021 and while we were thinking it was still for love sux, it was Let Go. We just knew she would do an anniversary edition with unreleased, but we didn't know Feldman was working on it. Anyways with Festivals being booked for the summer, I can't imagine her not singing at least 2 songs from the new album. When she did the same identical promo tour in Europe in 2007, she played Girlfriend, WYG, Hot, Everything Back but You and probably another song from TBDT. 3-4 for sure anyways. I dont know if she will do the same for UMS like she did with the 20th anniversary of Let Go, UMS wasnt as popular as Let Go, but I hope im wrong. I hope at least she releases a 20th anniversaty with some unreleased tracks like Daydream I think she’ll do the editions for Let Go, Under My Skin (we’ll finally get Daydream) and The Best Damn Thing. Under My Skin didn’t have radio hits outside of My Happy Ending (in the states) but it was a big record that charted for a long time. I don’t think she wants her legacy so tied to Let Go, so marketing/solidifying her mark with the first three records is a smart move. |

Feldman is in the studio with The Veronicas right now… he’s definitely not doing anything with Avril currently. She’s clearly decided not to release the album, either because she wants a break before getting back into promo, or she’s rewriting again.
As for UMS… no way. She did Let Go because it had such a huge cultural impact, but even TBDT didn’t do all that well outside of Girlfriend. Let Go anniversary was a special kind of thing, a one and done. We won’t be getting any more of those

It is curious though that Evan dug up that old CD of UMS demos, which is basically what started this whole theory of her making an anniversary edition. Could have just been a coincidence, could be they really are working on something and were looking for demos to use? So odd he’d just post that randomly without context.
If the anniversary edition happens, cool, if not, I won’t be that bothered. I’d only care about hearing any unreleased tracks and if it’s anything like LG we wouldn’t get many unheard ones anyway. They’d probably just put out IAGWIW, Take It, and maybe a full version of Daydream, and maaayyyybeee one of those tracks on the CD Evan found, and probably nothing else.

But UMS was #1 on Billboard for 1 week, and TBDT was #1 for 2 weeks. TBDT was also the most sold album by Sony Label in the whole year of 2007 and the 7th most sold album in general, worldwide that year. It did great imo! |

UMS sold 3 million on the US alone too
They're both (UMS and TBDT) around the 10M+ mark (each) worldwide, counting sales and streaming
An anniversary version will definitely boost them, just like it did for let go.

Morgan Wallen snubbed again because they don’t like something he said years ago despite dominating the charts for the last few years (but they’ll still invite him because he brings them views). Luke Combs winning song of the year with a cover song. Pure popularity contest, but popularity with the judges not the public (I love all those artists btw, so no bias here haha, it’s just ridiculous) |
