Ok so i just had a thought
We all assumed this was gonan be a rap type album cuz Tyga, hanging out with rappers. What if Avril saw the hate, saw nobody wanted rap, so is changing the sound of it andf is now a rock album? I feel now we see more signs of it being a rock album instead of a rap album

Reid Sued for Sexual Assault Drew Dixon, who starred in the documentary On the Record detailing her harassment and assault allegations against Russell Simmons and L.A. When they don't sell or their career doesn't take off, their lawyers convince them to accuse somebody of sexual assault because of a word said or a look given. I don't really believe in any of these stories anymore. This is one of the most disgusting posting I have ever read on this forum and I hope you choke on those words if Avril should ever accuse someone of sexual harassment. |

This has nothing to do with political correctness. You wrote a disrespectful post and got criticised for it. Everyone knows that women are capable of crime. However the rates of false allegations of sexual harassment are about 2% - 10%. So it's not just "some are legit" (as you said), it's MOST! The majority! Almost all! You also wrote "I don't believe any of those stories anymore" which is absolutely disgusting, seeing that most victims of sexual harassment dont come forward cause they are afraid that none will believe them. YOU are part of that problem, posts like yours make women afraid to come forward with what happened to them. There is NO benefit for women to accuse powerful men of sexual assault. These women will get insulted by the media and the public, they might lose their jobs cause none wants to be associated with their name, they might get sued by powerful men with money, their children will get threatened and so on. Please take a hard look into the mirror and think about why your first reaction to this article was to publicly say that women and their lawyers want to make money off false allegations - when there is NO evidence that this might be the case here and NO study to prove that women constantly do that. I remember doing research on it for my podcast when I discussed controversial figures Avril’s worked with and I could have sworn this was the same lady but maybe they’re 2 different people. |

So idk about you guys but after seeing Avril followed those Rock bands I’ve been listening to them all and honestly it’s getting me hyped. if Avril did songs similar to Iron Maiden and RHCP and Korn and even Green Day, I’ll be so happy. Let’s hope AL8 is the best album yet

As far as the topic at hand goes, I agree it’s probably best to e sensitive to these matters. It was only posted here because we know Avril associates with L.A. Reid still. She’s never commented publicly on the allegations against him and still seems to remain on friendly terms with him. As far as these allegations go, it sort of goes both ways. The alleged victim should be believed and a proper investigation should take place, but at least in the States, the judicial system is “innocent until proven guilty.” He could have done what she accuses him of, maybe not. It was simply posted here due to his connection with Avril and nothing more.
I suggest we turn back to the topic of AL8.
