always surprised how different opinions can be. everyone has a different taste, so it‘s logical that you can‘t please everyone.
for me, UMS has great songwriting! I also appreciate TBDT a lot because it‘s very pop-punk-rock and iconic. Some songs of GL (Everybody Hurts, Darlin, ..) are great, too. But all in all it just drifted too much away from her previous albums and for me it gets boring hearing an album with only acoustic-like ballads (I love WTH because it‘s upbeat and different).
I don‘t like self-titled because it‘s a mess, not cohesive, no concept and the songs are too poppy, shallow and average. Same unfortunately with HAW, the title track is great, but the rest is forgettable, the jazzier songs are just not her style.
Love Sux is ABSOLUTELY not the wrong direction, it‘s finally the BEST direction she could ever go and it finally feels like a continuation to TBDT.
Also my opinion: she should NOT search for a new stylist because her style is on point, it suits her, looks authentic on her and on these latest photos she looks amazing!
of course you can have a different opinion. but it‘s pretty unnecessary to discuss all this because fans have different opinions! she should wear what she wants and making the kind of music that she wants. if you dont‘t like it, you have to deal with it.

We all have preferences, but 'Rock Avril' from the 'Under My Skin' is the era/album that really cemented me as fan of hers for life!!! So for her to start suddenly following other rock bands, and scheduling rock festivals for 2024, and now her seemingly giving the NOD to her UMS roots! Well all this stuff together, really has this little boys heart racing! And I can't wait for what she may have in store for us in the future. It almost feels like I have been waiting for this moment for almost 20 years!!! Lol

I don't think this would've been possible two or three months ago. It would be nice. No it wouldnt have been possible but i wonder if one of them reached out ahead of time and were friendly. But apperentally Sahara doesnt like Avril at all so that also kinda worries me if Mod tried to say Hi to Av or something |
