I had a feeling we might get a christmas album this year. I LOVE that old version of OHN, Im glad I got it somewhere. It sucks that they removed it, it could be because of a release but Id think she would rerecord it even though I think its not really necessary. Could point to a christmas album, yeah, but maybe it doesnt mean anything and is just super random.
When do other artists drop their christmas albums? In the beginning of december?

Kelly released both hers end of October. Taylor her Ep beginning of December. Idk about others but if she does maybe this week with thanksgiving |

I doubt she is putting out a Christmas album this year. Most artists put them out around October, maybe November at the latest. Rarely in December. They usually put them out ahead of the Christmas season to capitalize on sales and radio play. December is too late. I also think she’d probably have teased something if that were the case, like showing herself in the studio with some kind of hint to a Christmas album. I doubt that album will ever happen honestly, it’s one of those things she keeps talking about doing for years and it still hasn’t materialized.

I’m okay with her releasing a one off Christmas song but please no EP or album. I just don’t think there is enough interest from the general public for Christmas music from Avril besides a few fans.

Maybe she's releasing a xmas song/cover in december, used in some lifetime movie or something. It's weird because o holy night was even being picked up by some xmas playlists at the beginning of the month

I looove Christmas so having Avril Christmas music would be cool. Especially if some originals in the mix too. Imagine a punk-ish spin on Christmas.. I quite enjoy the originals from Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood too. Anyone else know Stretchy Pants and Christmas isn't cancelled, just you? Both very fun and a bit different to the usual. Although I am Christian so I do celebrate it for what it's meant to be, the carols are always nice, Avril's voice would suite some of them.

I would be interested in a Christmas album along the lines of What Child is This, like songs done in a way that really showcase her vocals. An Avril-spin on classics like Jingle Bell Rock could be fun too.
