[ALBUM] AL8 Speculation Thread

I've never seen braids associated with religion or angels but to me they look like they were meant to be warrior braids, like a viking, especially when she wore them with that crown she had sometimes. That look would have been cool for a MV or something, like she's a warrior fighting through dark times. The braids themselves didn't look great quality though

Personally I'm not going to dictate how she should dress or style herself or tell her because she's a woman of a certain age she should look a certain way. She can do what she wants. I might not like the execution of it or think I would wear it but she can present herself how she wants

I couldn’t agree more!! She’s a grown woman & shouldn’t have to dress to please anyone, but herself regardless of her age & that goes for her hair as well, imo. Personally, I couldn’t care less how she decides to style it.. long/ short or whatever.. it’s her choice. I’m more interested in her music.

The HAW era was not it when it came to her style.
It's almost like she was trying to be someone else. For me, Love Sux was her best era in that department ever since TBDT. Because not only was it very much her, but it was very consistent and not a mess like self-titled or GL.

I think for this album/era something less colorful could work (assuming the album it's going in a different direction than love sux)
But like, we don't know where she's going yet, so it's difficult to have an opinion on looks.

Whatever happened (if it did at all) between her and Lauren was this week, because they both have followed the same interior designer just a few days ago.

This is really nothing new with Avril though, she tends to change her circle of friends with almost every album release for whatever reason. It’s kind of odd.

I would def love AL8 to sound like Im a Mess. It's emo pop rock and the overall mid-tempo and more nostalgic songs would be a great follow up to LS. I agree that LS2.0 would be useless at this point, especially with all the leaks we have it would feel more like LS3.0 tbh... we had enough of it for now.

I would be ok even with HAW 2.0 tbh as long as it's promoted better and has better creative direction. But sound wise, i wouldn't mind. BUT i would prefer UMS 2.0 or Im a Mess style.

I really thought she would release something before the festivals lol...
