I really think it’s possible she’ll have 1-3 singles out during the tour and might drop the new album in the fall after the tour is over, new tour in 2025 maybe. This could be a sort of promotional thing to get her back in the spotlight before putting out a new album to boost the sales maybe. ideally that would be the plan but things are so uncertain with Avril. I didn't expect this news today but here we are and when I do expect something she ends up teasing and pushing it back some time 😂 She literally pulled a taylor on us today. im impressed |

GH tour could be a great promotional move especially if she does capitalize on it right as you all have mentioned. I'd say drop a single before the tour and another towards the end. Start teasing the album during the tour and drop it about a month after the tour is over. Use this tour to get her name back out there, in the U.S. especially. After dropping the album she should take a month or two to rest after the GH tour and album promo (radio interviews, live performances, etc) and go back on the road to cities and countries not visited on the GH tour.

I just had a really dark thought, don't know where that came from but I guess it's just my mind that goes crazy sometimes:
So I thought what if this GH tour and the maybe following documentary is just her way of saying her goodbyes and retiring? Maybe there's never been a real plan for AL8?
Might better go to bed now 😶🌫️
