I’m totally here for Avril to make a few country songs (because realistically I don’t see her doing a whole album) but I honestly think Avril doing country is going to be one of those things she talks forever about doing but never actually will, just like this long awaited Christmas album she has been talking about doing for literally years and it still hasn’t materialized. Or how many times she’s talked about doing a double album and never has. She says a lot of things lol With her track record, I’ll be amazed if the Sk8er Boi movie ever gets completed. How about the "CookBook" though?  |

I feel like it got… complicated (no pun intended) last year so maybe just maybe this GHT is going to be like the finale of the doc? Cuz were they not filming a shit ton during the concert and like it review I g people on the Europe tour I do remmeber someone on here saying they were interviewed |

So I listened to a song form Nate smith just now chasing cars, I really liked his vocals and I think a collab with him and Avril would be great their voices would blend well

I don’t think it’s been scrapped but I think they must be filming more to include the GH tour. I get the sense it was supposed to be released last year once the Europe tour ended and then something happened. Maybe there was a lot of Mod in it and if they tried cutting him out they were left with big gaps so they had to film some more material? I think they’ll try to combine LS, LG anniversary, GH tour, and maybe UMS anniversary all in one. So hopefully at the end of this year we’ll get the documentary, maybe alongside a fall album release? |

She already has been quietly experimenting in country, first with the Shania tribute which was well received, then singing with Miranda Lambert. |

Re the doc, important to remember there’s a huge amount of work to be done legally in terms of old footage. It’s not just ‘let’s film some stuff and release it’. From experience it can go on for years before anything gets released. I’d imagine it’s still in the works but the timing of it all isn’t necessarily led by her.
