This morning I was listening to Wide Open Spaces in the car and for some reason I was thinking about that young Avril who performed this cover. And I thought, what kind of work did Avril's parents have? . Well as I can see her childhood home is very nice, so I guess they're well provided for.
So maybe anyone knows?

Expecting Avril of all celebrities to be that socially aware is a bit much. We know she pays little attention to anything political or social. I mean… she dated Tyga. She’s either completely ignorant of this kind of stuff or doesn’t care. She has done brand deals for all sorts of questionable products - detox teas, Kardashian vitamins, NFTs… It’s rather obvious she doesn’t research any of this stuff and just signs the check.

I saw on IG that Toby Gad (famous pop songwriter) is starting a podcast where he’s going to interview songwriters and Lauren Christy is one of the guests. The teaser trailer showed a clip of her talking about Avril so no doubt those early LG songs will be part of the conversation. I’m curious to hear what she has to say and if we’ll hear anything new about those songs, apart from the same stories we’ve heard over the years.
