A mildly popular YouTube channel called honest has been posting some Avril related videos (judgements may not necessarily reflect my personal opinions)
Not sure if you all saw these or not. It's interesting that these videos talk about topics discussed on this forum and they were uploaded recently

So many of my favorite singers in the second video 😅 I think it’s not entirely correct to say that they are copying Avril. I think that Avril opened the way for them, girls who don't want to be good girls, saying "I don't giva a damn about you", like the opposite of Britney or Christina. Although that style of music wasn't new, but Avril made it mainstream. Here's my thoughts
