I’m so happy to see some new pictures and see her so happy and with her mom! Not that keen on the outfit, the half long skirt is a bit weird but she can pull it off I must say. Our queen is the master of pullling off every outfit! I hope there’s news in the next following weeks!

I'd like to see it without the jacket. She has a really good hourglass figure so I don't know who is styling her to constantly make her look like a rectangle Me too! And I don't like those high boots. I think she's too short for them so they don't really compliment her... tbh I don't like them in general, for me boots have to end at least ~ 10 cm under the knee. |

OK so I'm guessing there was no announcement regarding AL8 nope. I mean i get it there was no stream or anything to find it. Interviews havent come out either yet so idk if she said anything about it. The veent was weird nothing was live |

I want AL8 to be diverse, don't want another album like Love Sux.
It will be great a to have some acoustic songs on it like Not Enough, Darlin, everybody hurts from the GL era.

I hope AL8 would sound like this: Psychopath Wings Clipped Don't Stop Break It So Good (Avril's Version) Energy Close In Touch Bright I just heard her version of Break It So Good again. I have no idea if pop was the direction she was headed into making HAW because a lot of the leaked tracks are so POP like main pop girl POP iykwim. But instead she went for soul-ish pop tracks and the lesser basic POP tracks like LMI, BW, Goddess. Unfortunately, I don't think she could pull off an authentic pop album because it's just not her thing. And I don't see her giving us anything too pop on AL8. Especially nothing like the leaked tracks because well she didn't release them which sucks for people like us who enjoy listening to them. Hoping for at least another Lucky Ones track down the line. |

What I want for AL8 since I haven't added in a while. I think we're getting another rock album and I'm mostly okay with it. I'm not sure if it will be like LS and I really hope it won't be. Although, it wouldn't make sense to just drop pop punk SO I would like to have a dark pop punk album. Something like Paramore's third album or MCR's Welcome To The Black Parade. Mid tempo tracks mostly and a few more energetic songs since I'm not a fan of how HAW/GL were so monotonous sounding. As for the lyrical content Avril better go outside her comfort zone. I'm sorry but no more I hate bois tracks if they're going to be about the same feelings. Plus there's some life stuff I think she still hasn't touched up on.

AL8...I'd love it to sound like ...love sux..darker or more serious.. pop punk/rock it's clearly the path for her..and connection with audiences. she can release different type of music here and there as side projects, singles and collabs. not albums. that's how you experiment without loosing your musical identity..
she wasn't an original POP artist ..(to them it's expected to do many really different types of sound...). she had rock elements..and it's crusial to keep her core. that's my opinion!

I think the album will be like Love Sux but a bit more musically diverse - different guitars, variety among the tracks. Love Sux also only had ONE ballad, when she normally packs a few, so I think we’ll get rock-style ballad with epic electric guitars.

The thing that I would like to see improved are the lyrics. There is a lot of stuff that it's possible to talk about. And a little bit of more variation in tempo and sound between songs.

It depends on which is the "orginal" Avril you're considering here. "He Wasn't" and "Sk8er Boi" are the only pure pop-punk songs of her 2 first albums. I just miss her vocals with no chipmunk voice effect. Unfortunately the whole Love Sux is full of it. I also miss well-written and more elaborated lyrics. I don't care much about the music genre as long it's not trap or something filled with generic eletronic beats (like Don't Stop and a bunch of others AL/HAW b-sides, etc). |

I would like more songs in the vein of Eyes Wide Shut. It was a well written, well produced track with some lyrical and emotional depth beyond her usual, and her voice was produced without the annoying chipmunk effect. It was an alternative song that managed to sound modern and not like something out of 2004.
