For me the guessing game is pointless. We’ve had album after album of her moving timelines around for one reason or another. Until she announces something concrete, trying to guess what she’ll do when, is IMO an exercise in futility lol Eh its fun anyway lmao kinda like guessing Rep TV |

So i just had a thought. Modsun went on tour, and had one new song Strangers and that was hwavily talked about among festivals and people. What if Avril is doign a similar boat, gonna have 1 or 2 new songs, sing at the festival, have it be talked about get people excited then release album?

I honestly can't imagine why she would go on this upcoming festival tour if she didn't have at least one new song out by then. Sure, knowing Avril, anything could happen. I've learned to not get excited until we have a specific release date. But it would just be such a wasted opportunity to not play at least one new song on that tour and get people hyped for AL8.

Maybe they don't know when to release the album because in May she's putting out the UMS anniversary edition, and they don't want them both to crash into each other. I think the single(s) at least are definitely coming before those dates in festivals. The documentary can possibly be a reason too; but in this case, they probably DO want the two to be out around the same time. Let's see how things go by her next interview

Maybe she'll announce something first week of January after the Holidays.

Alos possible annoucement then and she jsut doesnt wanna overshadow the holdiays,e njoy the holidays without heavy promo |

None of it was true lol. You’d assume she’d put something out before the summer dates because if not then what’s the point in doing them? Despite saying she loves touring (questionable lol) she never does shows just for the sake of it. But until we have an actual confirmed release date anything she says can be taken with a huge grain of salt. We know what she’s like! |

The album will be out lol. Normally, she likes to take summers off/be lighter so she has leisure time. She’s going to WORK and has her calendar is full for a reason.

Let's see how things go by her next interview If the problem is UMS (which I hope), she can release it on Spotify / vinyls around February. Like other artists do, they don't respect the exact date. After all she doesn't have to release Music Videos or doing a proper era/promo. These Anniversaries are quick: people pre-order copies and/or stream again the album along with the unreleased and the artist earn some easy money. But they hype lasts 1 month? 2 at most. So by April or May, which means 3 months later, she can release a single and start the proper era |
