I wonder if she's planning to drop her lead around the (possible) documentary. Like, there's no comeback after hiatus nor comeback to her old genre this time around. So they will use something to create some buzz. Maybe the (again, possible) UMS 20 edition could be it as well or yet another collab (I hope not) Wait yeah i never really thoguht about that this is the first Era since AL5 without a big comeback. This is just a new era and new album. Thatskina exciting but also kinda worrying like shes gonna have to really promote it and herself with this album theres no big factor thats pulling people in that arent her big fans like us, like HAW after lyme and LS returning to her old sound. SOo shes gonna really have to go all out with this. Also i hope there isnt a collab either, unless you know, Rep TV |

Nowadays you don't really have to do much. Hence, why I think the festival dates have been booked. If she does press during those events and puts out music during it that time it would be enough to promote an album cycle era.

That’s just life though? Most artists write about their life, it’s what makes their music and art compelling. Taylor’s done it, Ed Sheeran wrote music about his wife’s cancer and friend’s death, etc. Naturally Avril is going to write about her life, whether it’s a breakup, marriage, illness, career shift, etc. I don’t think those things were deliberately planned around the albums. If anything AL8 might center around her broken engagement.

I like this feeling of not knowing what to expect tho Not to mention it's good that she's not doing promises this time around. If people don't like it they can't say she was hyping up the album too much 💁 |

I hope the next album is going to have more songs about more profound themes such as thoughts about life, mental state, self-discovery, reflection etc. like How Does It Feel, Everybody Hurts, Runaway, Innocence, Keep Holding On and Who Knows. I just want more slow, grim, serious ballads or upbeat songs with relatable themes from her, they’re among her best songs imo. Not an entire album full of them necessarily, just a few is good (like TBDT, a perfect amount of more serious songs in between the fun and lighthearted ones).

I would just love that An introspective, but darker and heavier album talking about her own feelings more than anything Like that quote from avalanche says "what do you do when the hero needs saving?" She can have those happy songs about life there as well, since it's all part of the process of getting through it |
