Apperentaly lead single is in April which would line up Finally a SUMMER ERA 𤤠itâs been way too long. I am confident the album will be out before the tour, but the tour will be a chance to promote the new record right away. |

I think the lead will be out at least two months before the festival tour. Enough time for people to know the song. Then she's going to drop another one around the same time the tour starts (then album). Either that or a bit earlier like in march or something. It's a very Avril thing to do just drop an album with fall/winter vibes during summer tho đ

That account was making a joke, that's why they wrote "Clowneria Street" in the second tweet.
I do wonder what will happen in the upcoming weeks. Most likely we will get a single but an album seems unlikely...
Whoâs her current manager? Maybe he could talk her into performing albums cuts and songs from AL8. It's not like the festival crowd will know any other songs of hers than Sk8er Boi and Girlfriend...

Bring Me the Horizon (that are on most of those dates in the festival tour with Avril) are releasing a new single this week and probably the album before all these upcoming shows. And they are having a lot of drama behind the scenes even with a member of the band leaving in the middle of the album cycle. So nothing really prevents Avril from releasing the album before those festivals, still can happen.
Simple Plan also did a post talking about how busy the year will be for them. It's weird that Avril's first post of the year was an AD tho đ

It doesnât really matter what other artists are doing. Avrilâs album releases are almost always messy in some way or she just never does the thing that would make the most sense to do. She isnât up on current trends. Thereâs so many things other artists are doing that she never will (ex: Taylorâs surprise songs are a huge hit in her tour setlist but we know Avril wonât even touch anything thatâs not a single, she will never do a show longer than 90 minutes, sheâll barely touch instruments at this point, etc.)

^ the instrument thing is weird because when she started working on the album she seemed more into playing instruments again. She played guitar for Flames acoustic mv, and she played guitar for Bite Me mv and all the live performances she was doing to promote it but then dropped it when she went on tour. I guess she wanted to move around more
